Nature-Connected Coaching

Guidance for queer creatives & entrepreneurs who bloom in nature but freeze under the pressure of perfectionism.

There is another way to live.

Imagine...

Waking up feeling at home in your own skin.

Trusting your intuition without second-guessing.

Expressing your full, authentic queer self without compartmentalizing or hiding any part of you.

Recognizing yourself as a whole beautiful being in ongoing evolution, just as a forest is always growing, changing, and becoming.

You’re on the verge of something amazing!

You feel like your creative dreams are just below the surface—bubbling, ready to burst into the world like flowers in spring. You know you have incredible gifts to share, but you’re exhausted from perfectionism, second-guessing yourself, and carrying your potential like a burden.

You work hard to get your ideas out and down onto paper, but they stay trapped in your journals and sketchbooks. Each time you try to bring them into the sunlight, that familiar inner voice spirals: "Not good enough. Not ready yet. What will they think? What if I get it wrong?”

The truth? You’re not broken.

Nature is here to help you recognize that, like ecosystems, you don't need to be perfect to be whole.

Your emotions and your perfectionism are strengths.

They just need the right channel to become powerful tools for authentic expression.

The real magic happens when you discover that…

Nature isn’t only a place you visit for temporary relief.

It's a mirror reflecting your own innate wisdom and a teacher offering profound lessons about imperfection as a natural, necessary part of growth.

I offer 1:1 nature-connected guidance for LGBTQIA+ creative souls who want to:

  • Break the tireless cycles of perfectionism and overthinking

  • Share their gifts without feeling like an imposter

  • Trust their body wisdom and intuition

  • Integrate nature’s lessons into their daily life and creative work

  • Express themselves without fear or shame

  • Celebrate their queer identity as fuel for their creative work

  • Feel the same joy and connection they do in nature when working on and sharing their work

This deep work is for the brave souls ready to prioritize inner growth, commit to consistent nature connection practices, and step outside their comfort zone. If you want quick fixes or surface-level change, this isn’t it.

Create personalized nature-based practices that calm overthinking, interrupt perfectionism patterns, and reconnect you to your intuition

Redefine your relationship with “failure” as growth, inspired by nature’s resilience and adaptation

Build a sustainable relationship with your creativity that honors natural cycles of rest and productivity so you can express yourself without burnout

Establish an ongoing dialogue with nature for guidance and grounding in ancestral wisdom and support

Release internalized shame about being 'too different', ‘too much’, ‘not enough’ and reclaim your queer identity as your creative superpower

No two nature-connected coaching sessions will look the same…

…but each time we will identify and work towards your desired outcome and goal (the transformation you seek to make in your life). Through thoughtful and powerful questioning, you’ll uncover the old story you’ve been living, the one keeping you scared, isolated, and stuck.

With nature as a collaborator, and my guidance, you’ll tap into your own inner wisdom to develop practices and rituals to help you embody the version of you who moves through the world as the confident, authentic, and grounded person you want to be.

This could look like meditation, visualization, a short intentional walk outside, creative prompts, journal prompts, somatic exercises, or other embodiment experiments. Nature is simply a (powerful) collaborator in this process, the container that holds this sacred inner work.

Most sessions will be virtual, but access to the outdoors is highly encouraged. If you’re local, we can discuss in-person sessions. In our sessions you’ll learn how to connect with nature no matter where you may be.

The first photo features Davey walking through a forest of tall trees; the second shows a close-up of Davey wearing a hat, with mountains in the background; and the third depicts Davey sitting on a rock in a wooded area. The photos are arranged with the middle one being the largest.

I know this journey because I’m walking it, too.

My work isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you remember who you are beneath the layers of self-criticism and fear. Nature has shown me (and my clients) that we don’t have to be perfect to be whole.

I’m Davey (she/they), a queer Nature-Connected Coach in training with the Earth-Based Institute, working towards International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification.

As a creative, environmentalist, and entrepreneur for over two decades, I intimately understand your struggles of perfectionism, comparison, self-doubt, eco-anxiety, and the fear of self-expression. I've filled countless journals with ideas that have yet to see the light of day, all while navigating society and relationships as someone with a marginalized identity. The shame spiral kept me small, convinced that my perspective and creative vision is 'too much' for the world.

Through it all, intentional nature-connection has been my unwavering source of inspiration and empowerment.

This goes beyond simply being outdoors; it's about deeply connecting with the energy of the elements, plants, insects, the land, and even myself (because humans are nature too, yes you!). It's astonishing what lessons can be gleaned from a tiny ant or a spring blossom when your soul is open to listening. Realizing the scientific and ancestral foundations behind my experiences, and that I could guide others in harnessing this connection, illuminated my true calling.

Perfectionism
Analysis paralysis
Overwhelm

This shift in your life isn't about adding more knowledge or techniques to your already-full plate. It's about unlearning patterns that no longer serve you and reconnecting with your natural state of being - joyful, creative, and compassionate.

- What if you could turn your relationship with perfectionism from analysis paralysis into a supportive tool for inspired action?

- What if you could channel your emotional depth into meaningful authentic expression instead of overwhelm?

- What if you could easily tap into the wonder and awe of nature to inspire and bring you strength in your daily life?

"The most regretful people on earth are those who felt the call to creative work, who felt their own creative power restive and uprising, and gave to it neither power nor time."

Too many queer creatives silence themselves, carrying shame about being 'too much' or 'not mainstream enough.' But your difference is your gift.

Our journey together is uniquely tailored to your specific needs and goals. Whether you've been pursuing your creative work for years, or are wanting to dip your toes into a new creative role, we'll craft rituals and practices that fit your circumstances and resonate with your specific challenges.
